HOW DO YOU JOIN

To join Purplepeeple, you will need to be either a corporate body such as a university, company, charity or government department or at least 16 years of age and have a valid email address.

Purplepeeple has four professional chat communities. Join the network which you feel most comfortable with and connect with like-minded professionals.

WE GIVE BACK TO THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN TO YOU!

At Purplepeeple, we believe that Universities should have a stake in the talent which they have helped to develop. We donate the first third of any placement fee we receive on  registered students from participating universities into our Purple Universities Account. Participating Universities will receive an annual gratuity payment in line with the total number of its’ registered students placed in full time employment during the preceding year.

Additionally, we donate the second third of the placement fee we receive into our Purple Mentors Account. As with participating Universities, Purplepeeple Mentors receive an annual gratuity in line with the total number of students whom they have mentored and whom Purplepeeple have placed in full time employment during the preceding year.

In cases where there was no Mentor, the second third of the placement fee is donated into the Purple Scholarship Trust Fund. This Fund was established to help widen access into Higher Education for non-traditional groups, namely those candidates who are academically capable but come from financially impoverished backgrounds and who would otherwise opt out of going to University.

Everyone needs a helping hand at one time or another. Whether in the form of confidential advice, professional guidance, encouragement, personal reflection, mutual learning, sharing of experiences, emotional support or plain ‘tough love’. The purpose of the ‘Mentor Me’ Programme is to prepare you for the many challenges you will invariably face as you walk along your path to success.

If you are interested in becoming a Purplepeeple Mentor and investing a little of your time in helping to develop someone’s life then don’t hesitate, register now. We are actively looking for Mentors from all walks of life and from all disciplines.
